Aseptic Production and Packaging
Laboratories employ small stainless steel vessels with a capacity starting from 0.1 liters to investigate lead structures and facilitate the development of medicinal products. For process development, pilot plants utilize small-scale bioreactors, typically around 10 liters. In pharmaceutical production, larger batch containers, approximately 200 liters, are implemented for aseptic manufacturing processes. Additionally, for the purposes of sterile packaging, storage, and transportation, stainless steel pharmaceutical cans and bottles ranging from 0.03 to 30 liters are utilized.

The standardized sterile design of stainless steel pressure vessels and cans eliminate cross-contamination. Our design minimizes microbial adhesion, avoids dead spots and allows easy cleaning. All vessels and bottles are made of material grade 316L stainless steel, with seamless welds, and electropolished finish. Vessels up to 50 liters are deep drawn with only one weld seam. Tri-clamp nozzles and connections allow easy assembly. FDA compliant gaskets are chemical and temperature resistant.

Modular System
Pharmaceutical Aseptic containers are available in the modular system in 3 types and 15 sizes:
- Type series C (standard) is the classical formulation vessel with dip tube for discharging and a pressure connection
- Type series CM (with magnetic stirrer) is used as stirring and mixing vessel.
- Type series CDM (with double jacket) as cooling or melting vessel.

Customization
Each type series can be customized for the individual aseptic application with process technology and accessories. For the mobile use in sterile areas trolleys are available with magnetic drive, thermostat and scales.

Black Forest offers a variety of stainless steel pharmaceutical hygienic bottles, containers and pressure vessels for the storage, process, biological transport and transfer of precious products and hazardous materials. Many Laboratory Bottle designs are UN/DOT approved. Large sanitary Tri-clover openings allow for easy access to products, and ease of cleaning – liquids, intermediates & solids. Custom and standard applications are offered for these returnable, reusable vessels.
